Clinical supervision is ongoing professional development that provides counselors with immediate feedback and support in areas of identified growth. Professionally, it is the best of both worlds, giving space to clinicians to reflect on their own experiences and explore how those experiences inform their practice, as well as a collaboration for problem-solving.
My goal as a professional counselor is to contribute to the emotional well-being of adolescents and their families and provide meaningful, evidence-based interventions as appropriate.
My goal as a clinical supervisor working with school counselors is to facilitate the ethical and constructive development of their skills, knowledge, and competencies as helping professionals for the clients they serve.
